Carolyn asked me to write these profiles, and share excerpts from my interviews with great minds and creative friends of Carolyn and myself, as a way of memorializing and sharing those important interactions that were most essential to our personal growth. These profiles, which have become a popular weekly series on our Facebook pages, focus on brilliant artists, writers, poets, musicians, philosophers, psychologists, scientists, spiritual teachers, cultural icons, and obscure geniuses that touched our souls. I tried to capture the person’s development, influence, and the essence and message of their lives in just a few paragraphs, include some little-known facts about them, and then add, either some quotes or interview excerpts and personal interactions, as examples of the workings of the profiled individual’s mind.
