Carolyn asked me to write these profiles and share excerpts from my interviews with great minds and creative friends of Carolyn and me, as a way of memorializing and sharing those important interactions that were most essential to our personal growth. These profiles, which have become a popular weekly series on our Facebook pages, focus on brilliant artists, writers, poets, musicians, philosophers, psychologists, scientists, spiritual teachers, cultural icons, and obscure geniuses who touched our souls. I tried to capture the person’s development, influence, and the essence and message of their lives in just a few paragraphs, including some little-known facts about them, and then add, either some quotes or interview excerpts and personal interactions as examples of the workings of the profiled individual’s mind.
